2023 was also a very good year to us. We were able to travel to many places around the country. Yasukuni Shrine, Tokyo Bay Cruising, Sword Festival (Sword Dance) at Amanohashidate, Takashima Town, Chikubu Island, Lake Biwa at Shiga Prefecture, etc. Our niece had a baby girl in June. Congratulations.

Koichiro was able to participate in four aquathlon (swimming and running) competitions and met by chance many students and athletes. I passed the French proficiency test level 3, called DAPF niveau 3. I still wants to study more. I was happy to be able to attend a live performance by the gypsy jazz group, MASH String Orchestra. It was also nice to see an old friend of mine who I haven't seen for a long while. I was also able to actively engage in local activities as a civil welfare officer. My friends from France came to Nara and Sumie dressed her in a kimono. I hope she was happy to have a time with us. Three years have passed since I started working at the university. Thanks for everyone who helps me.

Sumie has traveled extensively in Japan for her work and private life. She encountered many beautiful scenery. She studies and practices a lot about health, especially food. She is doing well in her own hair dressing salon. She is currently studying mandala art. She went to Fujinomiya City and Sengen Taisha Shrine.
